Drum and synth engines range from tabla and taiko to 6-op FM and Graff, where you draw the sound on three canvases. The granular sampler slices and stretches your samples to tempo.

Deep Sequencing

Every step gets its own velocity, probability, parameter locks and ±30 ms nudge. Give each row its own length and swing, then add flams, drags and rolls from nine ratchet modes.

Shape the Mix

Every drum, sampler, bass and lead voice gets its own strip. Drag across strips to paint mutes and solos, or turn any effect into a send for shared reverb and sidechain ducking.

Pattern, Jam & Song modes

Launch pages like clips in Jam mode and record the take. Drop it straight into your song, then bounce the arrangement to tape with a little drive and glue.

Pick an LFO or envelope, then click the knob you want it to move. Draw your own LFO shape, sync it to tempo, and let notes from any part trigger the envelopes.

Grab a joystick

Three XY joysticks each steer up to six parameters, so one drag can turn a verse into a breakdown. Play them from the numpad, and patch velocity or note number through the mod matrix.

Play it from your laptop

Your computer keys play all 16 drum pads, the sampler and a piano. Hold Shift for accents or Alt for ghost notes.

Stay in key, paint in chords

Pick a root and scale and the grid dims every note that would clash. Click a chord chip to paint it onto steps, or apply a whole progression with smooth voice leading.

Build your chain

Pick from over 40 effects, from spring reverb and tape delay to a lo-fi filter and stereo chorus. Drag them into any order in a 16-slot rack and turn any slot into a send.
